China Yard Sales Office

Located at the entrance plaza of Genghai housing project, this building is designed to be used as a sales office and later will be converted into retail stores.  As the site is sunken below road elevation, large vertical windows are used to enhance the visibility of the building.  The main façade is oriented towards the street corner and creates a stage setting for the public domain. The tall windows, as well as the articulation of the section details, provide a lively interface with the plaza.
