The landmark of this exhibition, which is about the 1970s, the “longest decade of a short century”, is the ceiling, transformed to a “cumuliform sky”.
Despite being on a very limited budget, The architect with his long experience in outfitting the spaces of the Triennale manages to connect and make readable the exhibition path with great freedom and freshness.
The white colour of the “cumuliform sky” which represents the space of memory dense with atmosphere, suspended and immaterial, follows the urban path that twists and turns through “streets” and “squares” that connect a series of buildings (the thematic rooms).
Featuring on the inside a rich variety of atmospheres, colours and suggestions, the rooms interpret the “key word” of the exhibition.
And they almost seem like storage boxes full of memories.
