Our purpose was to create a heavy building in sense of physical and mental as well. To create a group of buildings what is in the focus of the new neighborhood.
The church: simple, archetypical; rising from the composition. The church is covered with stone. The heavy building seems to grown from the ground, belonging together.
The other functions are in the side-wing and in the separated wing. There is a hierarchy between the buildings, the system of the spaces are complex, cut up with courtyards and passages, but in unity and harmony. The church is as simple inside as outside. The white walls and the high ceiling gives an atmosphere solemn. The sunshine filters in the inner space mysteriously, being the most important element for us by the planning.
