Water has the special force of attraction to stimulate living with a surplus value of a consoling and attractive panorama. Worldwide it is a magnet and connection loop for looks of enjoyment and living pleasure. As an extension to the historical city of Deventer and image to the river, nine blocks of luxury apartments were scattered like dice along the bank of the IJssel. They were connected to each other like couples with large concrete terrace frames and strategically planned with views through to the water. An underground car parking garage slides like a carrier or communal denominator in the bank like a dike for this residence. With rising heights further away from the centre the sloping roof spaces form an interactive game of directions and positions like a nonchalant flirt with the city.
