Healing Architecture 2.0
Where visiting the doctor becomes a spa experience – Frédéric Namur, interior designer with Mandelieu, has realised a modern and truly inviting refurbishment project in Cannes. Directly by the Croisette in the Palais Miramar building from the 1930s a special interior was created for people with an aesthetic eye, where all the practice and treatment rooms lead onto a private terrace with a view of the sea.
A practice where each room invites you to immerse yourself in a breath-taking atmosphere, created with specially planned lighting and acoustics to complement its unique design concept. The guests are received in a space that features white marble and brass, that is gently emphasised through the warm colours of the custom-made furniture. The waiting room in subdued olive and beige tones ensures moments of pleasure with living and soft materials such as wood and velvet. Walls and ceilings are embellished with top-quality cladding and carpets with palm patterns. The luxurious atmosphere is completed with golden features in the lighting design and the fittings.
The JUNG LS 990 switch range is just as elegant and clean as the modern colours, furniture and materials here. Frédéric Namur deliberately chose the JUNG LS 990 range in brass to blend in with the design concept of this high-end practice on the Côte d'Azur, with a dark finish in the treatment rooms and a light grey version to match niches and furniture. With the integrated LS ZERO switch design that matches the furniture in the waiting room, the design behind the elements that blend into each other has been carefully thought right through to the end. As the flush-mounted version of the classic JUNG LS 990 range, the LS ZERO discreetly makes its point by creating a smooth transfer between the surfaces and the operation element.
