MICHELGROUP partnered with the KaDeWe Premium Group Berlin, the luxury branch of the Karstadt Warenhaus GmbH, for the positioning and renovation of Oberpollinger in Munich, providing planning, design, and implementation services. A unique luxury experience is provided on each of the seven floors housing global brands such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior, as well as the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Boutique. With this dramatic transformation into one of the first tier luxury department stores of Europe, Oberpollinger joins its sister houses of the Premium Group “KaDeWe Berlin” and “Alsterhaus Hamburg.” It is the first premium department store opening in Germany in over 100 years, a milestone in the development of German and European department store history.
