For the past five decades, Little Sisters of the Assumption Family Health Service provided a variety of public services to the East Harlem community from five separate buildings. The new building was designed to consolidate these programs. The façade of the building is made up of an ordinary exterior door system, large pieces of fixed glass and insulated panels.
