Design Concept for a 4*Hotel

The concept of this 4*hotel is represents the melding of tradition and modern design. A central element of the design is the incorporation of local crafts, traditional fashion was an inspiration especially. The simple aesthetic, punctuated by tactically placed focus elements, gives the design a contemporary flair. The combinations of local wood, leather and metal are finely crafted and present a clean look. For the carpet design, the design of a typical skirt was deconstructed, while the lamps show a union of long-standing ceramic art of the region and a modern lampshade. Lightness is brought into the space by the bed, perceived as floating, with its winged headboard. The fauna of Romania inspires the floral details.
