House FL

 Back to Projects list
Location
Berlin, Germany
Year
2008

At Bernauer Strasse, the division of Berlin, is also almost 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall was still clearly visible. The existing buildings are historic monuments of different worlds, the West's Wedding district is facing a modern lines dating to the 50s to the 70s, the founder of time shaped buildings of the former eastern districts center. An island consisting of 16 town houses built in a situation reminiscent of medieval density, tried this place of the former death strip to be redefined. The house FL interprets the idea of single-room house again. The promenade runs all the places connecting the ground floor of the hall via a single staircase and ends on the roof of the house with the view of Berlin. The transition between the open and introverted types is the image of family life of the users.
