Exquisite, savory, and humanistic ambiance

With a persistent focus on premium quality and taste for years, Xin Rong Ji has carried forward the classic cuisine of the Rong’s through constant adjustment and refinement in its upgrading development. Zhang Yong, the founder, known as Uncle Rong, with the wisdom of a philosopher, is dedicated to crafting upscale Chinese cuisine through the core values of making the best cuisine from authentic ingredients, and has turned Xin Rong Ji into a national brand.

Xin Rong Ji has opened a new restaurant at Taikoo Li Qiantan, featuring Shanghai-style elegance and delicacies with an Eastern aesthetic that tells a story related to art, humanity, and refined food.

Immersed in the elegance of the metropolis

Over time, the nostalgic charm of old Shanghai continues to reside in our memories, while the contemporary allure of Shanghai-style life remains a cherished desire.

The restaurant's entrance beautifully embodies the grace and meandering of a traditional Shanghai-style garden house, embracing the city's rich history, inclusive culture, and countless tales. The entrance exudes an exquisite elegance, with bespoke wine cabinets and glass show windows that emanate the delightful aroma of wine, creating a sense of anticipation for the upcoming feast.

Vibrant dining vibe and Shanghai-style charm

Cuisine blends with diverse cultures, giving rise to delightful flavors. Similarly, design, much like cooking, evokes resonance through the constant interaction between people and craftsmanship, silently influencing each other.

The Shanghai-style space design embodies a refined yet captivating tone, blending classical elegance with exotic influences. It effortlessly captures the essence of the bustling world, maintaining alluring charms. In the restaurant, local seasonal ingredients are skillfully combined to create Shanghai-style delicacies, resulting in a unique authentic flavor.

The red brick roast duck oven exudes a warm, artisanal feel on its surface. With meticulous craftsmanship, it constantly adds charm to the space over time.

A natural sense of poetry and delicacy

Highlighting the timeless essence of Shanghai-style culture, the design drew inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Shanghai, seeking to explore the shared values and aesthetics that transcend time.

The design pays meticulous attention to color coordination, material selection, and precise line detailing. It seamlessly fuses the timeless Shanghai cultural heritage with the contemporary lifestyle of modern Shanghai, reshaping the unique identity of Shanghai aesthetics.

The space design of the lobby accentuates the curved lines, embodying the rich heritage of Shanghai. The series of arches optimizes the spatial structure while maximizing space utilization.

The tranquil, elegant, and leisurely atmosphere perfectly harmonizes life and art. The delightful combination of delectable food, cherished memories and sentiments is encountered time and time again amidst the daily joys.

Every dining scene is a journey of emotions, where beauty lies in the most ordinary corners. The soft, warm yellow light creates a serene ambiance, while the carpet, sofa and armchairs seamlessly blend in the inclusive Eastern aesthetics of Shanghai-style.

The design effortlessly captures the essence of the bustling world, maintaining alluring charms

The fusion of new styles and classical elements creates a worldly atmosphere, encouraging patrons to cherish the vibrant days that unfold before them.

Each area of the restaurant features a landscape balcony, designed with expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows that bring in the daylight and 180-degree city views. This thoughtful design enhances the visual experience and connects the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The slanted columns of the existing space posed a challenge as they obstructed the view and detracted from the overall aesthetics. To address this, the space was carefully decorated to minimize the visual impact of the columns based on functionality. The fair-faced concrete columns were polished to preserve their raw texture.

Daylight fills the space, naturally connecting the indoor and outdoor landscape, offering patrons an enhanced and immersive experience of the captivating beauty of Shanghai. The Shanghai-style decor permeating the private VIP rooms extends to the whole dining space. The use of simple and refreshing leather furniture, along with nostalgic items, evokes a sense of comfort and tranquility in every corner of the space.

As the day transitions into night and the lights illuminate Taikoo Li Qiantan, the restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the vibrant cityscape, which becomes a crucial part of the dining experience. Time seems to become still as one immerses in the enchanting atmosphere and encounters the inheritance of Shanghai culture.
